Something about this place, I have to visit every time. The trees are simply gorgeous, as is the temple itself. There’s a lovely stream running through that you can follow down a bit to a small aqueduct. For being so close to the area, it’s simply a must.

What an amazing Shrine, very well kept. Love all the big pine trees, they must be many hundreds of year. Very dense forest so it could get cold quick. It’s in the middle between the traditional village and Mnt Fuji station. So if you stop here on the way back from the village, you can walk back, around 15mns walk.
