Arakurayama Sengen Park, Fujiyoshida

This is a really great spot for Mt. Fuji viewing. Unfortunately, it was very cloudy when we went 😭. There are several ways to reach the pagoda—you can walk up the switchbacks or take the stairs. The stairs are very steep but you can reach the pagoda in under 15 minutes if you wanted to. There’s a viewing deck right behind the pagoda and if you’re adventurous, you can keep hiking up more stairs to reach a resting area with two gazebos(??). My friends and I sat here and relaxed for a bit before going back down. If you’re feeling really brave, you can hike to the peak but it’s about 40 minutes from the gazebos. There are restrooms at the bottom and by the gazebo. Lots of street food at the bottom too.

One of the best to watch the beauty of Mt Fuji. There is a huge free parking lot. You have to climb the stair about 10min to reach the Pagoda style temple from were you can watch the legendary iconic sight seeing of Mt fuji. The best place to visit during autumn. The best time to visit is during the first week of November, after the second week the autumn leaves starts falling.
