Discover the treasure trove of marine life and the biodiversity of Sagami Bay at Enoshima Aquarium. This modern aquarium allows any enthusiast to learn about cutting-edge sea research and what lies hidden in the deep blue. Visit the large display of jellyfish, and mellow out to their slow, hypnotic movement. Take a closer look at penguins and seals both in and out of the water, and notice how they transform into incredibly fast swimmers compared to their clumsy sauntering on land. If you want a more hands-on approach, head over to the activity center to learn about the seashore and the necessary actions to protect it. Small aquarium but have lot to see and shows. It's just in front of the beach and restaurants. After visit the aquarium walk to Enoshima Island.

A fantastic aquarium with a wide variety of exciting exhibits on hand as well as a dolphin show which I will have to catch the next time. The penguin and seal exhibit has you up close and personal while the penguins dive and swim around and with the seals you’ll get treated to a mini performance with the trainers. A unique exhibit featured the submersibles that explore the regions around us. The Special exhibit dedicated to the jellyfish as a means of therapy was truly unique and surprisingly relaxing. In true fashion this aquarium excels at branding for their cafe. With multiple variations on mellonpan in the shape of sea turtles, a few other sea animal shaped breads to choose from, and leopard seal themed ice cream that is actually sesame seed flavored. The gift store features your usual arrangement of sea animal stuff animals and other things to entice the little ones, the big break out is the beer selection of local craft brews that absolutely floored me. This is one place everyone in family can enjoy.

No social distance measures in place and crowded with kids. Only a temperature check and request to wear masks. Not worth it. Disneyland is a busy place too, but has proper procedures in place and is much much safer. Beach, despite not having proper services in place is also a much safer alternative since it is outside.
