We reach the summit by cable car to marvel at the sweeping views of Hakone National Park. Due to snow, not much visibility. There is a shrine here as well. The weather cleared just enough to see.... more

Beautiful trails and caves in the area and worth a stop or tour. To go inside the caves, you need to either book a tour or get a permit and the proper gear. The forest is uniquely beautiful with twisted roots, moss, and lava rock. I highly recommend a walk in the area.

You will see and experience everything here. The scenic view of Mount Fuji, Glass Museum, Aquarium, Shrine, Pirate Ships rides in the Lake Ashi, Magical Black Eggs of Owakudani, Ropeway ride over Fuji Hakone Izu National Park, Tozan Cablecar, the Hot Springs (onsen), and many more. Though one day trip is possible, to cover all the major attractions, from Tokyo, you need at least two days to cover everything.
