Takushinkan, Biei-cho

I never knew I would walk into what I thought was a random stop of something interesting. And be blown away at the sheer skill and beauty of the photography of Shinzo Maeda. I am sure I have seen some of his collection on my windows screen savers. A true legend in his field of photography. One can actually go to the sights of the photographs in the surrounding area and attempt to take your own variants of his masterpieces. Enjoy

Small memorial of the photographer who captured beautiful moments of Biei area and introduced its beauty all over Japan. This Biei area has difference impression across the year and as most of us makes a choice of one season, it is a place where we can imagine how this area will look like in different seasons. It may not be a must-visit place, but a good place to stop-by if possible.
