It still should be your first stop on arriving in Beppu. It wasn't but it should have been. As an English speaker and absolutely no knowledge of Japanese,I was given every bit of information required.... more

The woman who answered my questions at the counter was so friendly. Not only did she answer my questions about the bus but she even gave me some helpful tips, like which side of the bus to sit on for the best views. She also gave me a walking map of the area I was going to. Her English was very good, and thanks to her help I had a wonderful little day trip in Beppu :)
