Destroyed after the 1976 earthquake, Cathedral of Saint Andrea was rebuilt along with the rest of the village using original stones and bricks. The church, first established in the 6th century, features a stately, somber exterior and lofty bell tower, with notable medieval frescoes and statues inside. In the 1600s, several mummified bodies were found inside the cathedral, now displayed in the baptistery.
