Pitars, San Martino al Tagliamento

If you are in the Aviano area for drills (or stationed) at the base... or just in the Pordenone area, you've got to book a wine tasting at Pitars. The vineyard is beautiful regardless of the time of year, the staff is extremely friendly and the wine tasting was nothing short of amazing. The wine is superb and the prices are excellent - you can't go wrong, so be sure to pick a bottle. (we picked up three cases and I have NO REGRETS. :)

Extremely good wines and knowledgable staff. We had honour to spend an hour at this lovely vineyard on the way back from Tuscany and had to say we were overwhelmed by quality of the Pitars wines. We ended up buying few cartons at local company store. Highly recommend, we will definitely come again!! Thanks Pitars!
