Palazzo Gregoris, Pordenone

Palazzo Gregoris is a building of the Contrada Maggiore which dates back to the second half of the 17th century. The building with its redecorations in stone, is a splendid example of the Venetian Renaissance style. Its imposing facade, made graceful by terraces and masks, stands out from the other buildings. It is supposed that it was designed to be part of the curtain of buildings on the Grand Canal. For reasons of duties on materials or other, he would then have folded for its construction in Pordenone, where the stones had arrived in the meantime, waiting to be transported, by river, to the lagoon city.
