Create an itinerary including Sources of the Gorgazzo
Renowned for its vivid, crystal-clear waters, Sources of the Gorgazzo refers to the origin of a spring, a tributary of the Livenza River. Stop by and admire the striking turquoise hues of the stream, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the tranquil ambiance. A great photo opportunity, the intense blue spring waters descend into a deep karst cave. Look closely near the cavern opening to see an underwater statue of Jesus Christ, visible in the azure waters despite sitting at a depth of 9 m (30 ft). • A nice little stop and there is an awesome Honey Gelato place next to the entrance trail. Definitely a delicious snack and beautiful little place.

  • Came in September and there is no water by the streets, like in most of the pictures only in the actual Source of the Gordazzo. I would like to come back next year and see if there is any water. The breeze was nice as it’s cooling down now and you can definitely walk around the little town. 4 ⭐️ because I was really hoping to see the water in the canal.
  • I only rated this with 2 stars because there is currently nothing to see there- because of the severe drought right now. There is no water so do not bother to come here unfortunatelly. The only positive thing is the little stand with honey products where you can buy local honey and try waffles with delicious ice cream&honey :) 🐝🍯
