Valle Canal Novo Reserve, Marano Lagunare

A beautiful nature reserve worth the detour and the small entrance fee. Nice wooden walkways lead to a Flamingo viewing platform. Yes, wild Flamingos in the middle of Europe. This is unique and a great example for nature conservancy done well. Recommended highly!

Nature was beautiful and birds were great, specially flamingos. Overall, this place could have been a bit better maintained. Specially aquarium part was very bad. It was sad to see beautiful seahorses, fishes etc. in a small, poorly maintained aquariums without proper "decoration" in it . There was also one dead fish bottom of the fish tank. They should put A LOT more effort to this aquarium part or then stop keeping it...so big minus for that, otherwise place was anyway worth to visit.
