Well organized and interesting piece of Italian history. We took the guided tour with a guide that gave us information in English for €6. (There are no other languages providing information except Italian). Maniago is a great town to visit and the museum is worth a look. See the sword that was crafted for the movie Braveheart and many other interesting items!

This museum presents a part of the local entrepreneurship covering the story, the technology, the design, the usage, and there is an important part on the memory collected with several interviews. It is interesting also for kids. Consider to spend about two hours. The entrance is not free but is cheep.
