  • The church dates back to 1500 when Zaccaria Vendramin, procurator of San Marco in Venice and jurisdiction of the "Terra della Tisana", had it built and named it after the saint of the same name. The building is very simple: a rectangular hall with a trussed ceiling, a facade with a stone portal and a small bell gable with a single lancet window. Inside, a painted wooden altar preserves the Madonna with child while on the sides there are the statues of Sant'Antonio and Santa Rita. Those who take the cycle path along the lagoon can easily visit it.
  • ..."The only religious point of reference for the poor and the fishermen of the coast and the lagoon until the 19th century"... Small church with a beautiful park under the embankment of the lagoon. The interior is simple...sparsely furnished but welcoming...WHAT I EXPECT FROM A CHURCH!...that is, no glitz!....but a place to think in peace and serenity.
