Bastianich, Cividale del Friuli

Tasted a suite of whites and learned a lot of steel vs. barrel aging process being followed.. Their attention to detail in winemaking is second to none.. It is down to attention to details like bottling with multi-cork for aging vs single cork, use of barrel cycles, choosing the right time for harvest (vendemmia) and more to learn in a conversation with Bastianich hostess. Biased on Ribolla Gialla and Friulano as my favourites, will come back!

super friendly and informative, nice wines, nice atmosphere. If you have questions in English, staff are happy to help you out. Don’t really understand the 2 star review of someone who has not visited the business, only because the place is called “winery”??
