Weingut Edi Keber, Cormons

We had the pleasure of meeting and visiting all three Keber winemakers over two days while in Collio/Brda. Renato, Edi and Kristian. It was truly unique to have such an intimate wine tasting experience. I have been to 100's of wineries around the world over the years, but these wineries are totally different than what you find in new world wineries where the goal is to sell wine, wine club membership and merchandise. These winemakers are dedicated to their terroir and farm organically as well. Although they grow traditional grapes such as Cab Sauv and Merlot, their local white wines are very intriguing and appealing. The macerated "orange" wines are unique to this part of the world and should experienced.
