The Museum of the Great War of Cividale is one of the most beautiful museums in the province, inside it has a beautiful scale model of the railway of the Cividale-Caporetto section used during the First World War. It also has memorabilia and representations of life at the front. Absolutely the visit is more than recommended. Free admission. P. S. Mr. Giuseppe is a wonderful person who described the whole model to us.

Small museum about a big war. Not a modern museum, just showing the gruesome battles with artifacts. A volunteer guide who puts his heart and soul into it, explains in Italian and is happy to explain again if you didn't fully understand. He smiles when you make a mistake and call Rommel a capitano and explains that Rommel was tenente, but that would almost be a capitano.
