  • A modern and artistic museum on the upper floor of a building presenting exhibits mostly about the legendary local snack Mubarok "jenang Kudus", a popular toffee-like traditional confection (dodol). Some artistic displays present values like Trilogy of Brotherhood (Ukhuwah) and the local wisdom motto "Gusjigang" (Bagus-Ngaji-Dagang). There are also texts, dioramas, memorabilia and replicas related to historical places (like the Kudus Mosque minaret) and outstanding figures from the Dutch colonial era (including Nitisemito and Sosrokartono). A store with a balcony facing the street offers traditional batik and woven clothes. Spacious musholla (moslem praying place), washing places and restrooms. The ground floor is the new place for the fabulous Mubarok snacks store with its own restrooms. A vast parking lot for motorbikes and cars. Entry fee to the museum is IDR 10,000.-.
  • Best tourist attraction for city tour fans. I've visited here for the fourth time with different family members. Its a one stop museum, not only to display history of Jenang itself, but also display Kudus's city history, and they sell Jenang as well so tourist doesn't bother to go anywhere else. The content of the museum is so complete including Kudus's history, history of Niti Semito, and also about islamic root of NU and Muhamadiyah in Kudus city. They also had small photobooth, small handycraft shop, and small balcony. The entrance ticket to the museum is Rp10.000,00/person. But you can enter the Jenang shop for free. You just have to pay for the shopping. There are various type of coffee shop within walking distance from the museum. The location is great. Great place for authentic Kudus experience
