  • When we came there was an exhibition from local painter, and me personally loving all of their painting. It was about the beauty of many cities in Indonesia with a theme of Wonderful Indonesia.

  • A fascinating art gallery located in the center of Jakarta. The collections are numerous despite the small spaces (Indonesia through decades & international). Keep in mind you are allowed to have an hour to read over all the art descriptions. Reservations are accepted up until D-1. However, I spotted people arriving without a reservation, and they must line up because entry is granted based on arrival order. Then making a reservation online is advisable. This is one of the most organized galleries with noteworthy collections. Go along if you get the chance; it's free!
  • Really well maintained, comfortable, and educational! Just make sure to register online first before coming to avoid queuing in the heat. I love the permanent collection, consisting of both Indonesian and International artists’ works. The narration on the walls are easy to read and informative. Always keep an eye for their non-permanent exhibitions, to get the most out of your time in one visit. Oh, did I mention that it is totally free as well?
