Surf Point Bongkas, Gili Trawangan

If you’re looking at learning to surf, Gili T’s Bongkas is a hidden gem. You’ll have mellow waves, and a rather empty line up. The guys at the Bongkas Surf School are super kind and make sure you’ll catch great waves, feel safe and have loads of fun! Even if you’re not going to take lessons, they are super easy going to hang out with or to give you advice on the spot if you’re going in by yourself. Thanks for the great days 😊

I was looking for a surfing instructor when I bumped into Dan and the guys at Bongkas on the beach. I had a great private lesson with Dan and ended up going back two more times. Dan (and and Han) gave great instruction on the beach before heading out and whilst out on the waves told me what tweaks to make to improve. They clearly know the surf in this area. Would recommend. 10/10. Look no further.
