Walk into the water at Jemeluk Beach, and within a few steps find yourself surrounded by tropical fish of every color. The immediacy of the teeming coral reefs, combined with the shallow water and weak currents, make the bay ideal for beginner snorkelers and divers. Several diving schools operate on site, so you can easily learn or hone your technique. The stoney black sands with boats pulled up all along their length don't favor sunbathers, but they certainly create a picturesque setting for a seaside stroll. You won't go hungry at the beach, with plenty of good restaurants serving up delicious fresh seafood. Please be careful about standing on coral while swimming, as this kills the coral permanently. This is a really good beach for snorkeling and scuba. The beach is overall very clean and the water is clear. Equipment is easy to rent from hotels or dive shops for snorkeling and scuba’s

Very nice snorkeling spot. You can enter directly from the beach and see a lot of different corals, sponges, fish and of course the underwater temple (which is basicsaly more like a mailbox). Unfortunately there is a lot of plastic on the beach is and noone seems to care about. So please also collect some rather than stepping just over it. Also it would make sense if the rentals for the diving/snorkeling gear tell their customers NOT to touch the corals or anything underwater!
