Create an itinerary including Bara Imambara
Built in the 18th century, Bara Imambara remains a major place of worship for Shia Muslims. After walking through two enormous gateways, you'll enter a courtyard dominated by a grand mosque. Stand inside the huge central hall to discover one of the world's largest vaulted galleries, made of interlocking bricks with no extra structural support. You can also walk through the famed "Bhulbhulaiya," an intricate network of narrow tunnels leading to a rooftop balcony with panoramic views. Think about paying a guide to ensure you don't get lost within this massive complex. • A beautiful and soothing place. I'd recommend you guys to visit during winter as in summer the temperature is around (35-40)°C so you guys will get exhausted, sun tanned and then it becomes boring. Also make sure you hire a guide for better understanding of the inside architecture and history.
  • This is a heritage monument related muslim religion. Good architecture, moderately maintained. You can buy cold drinks and snacks inside the monument campus. The small garden was properly maintained and the place was clean. I missed the opportunity to visit the entire place as my mother was having problems with so many stairs. I personally feel that the entry ticket is highly priced as you have to pay to the guide in addition to entry tickets. Otherwise the place is good.
