  • There's a great cafe inside, very interesting place, very beautiful. But there's zero explanation on the flora present, just some key codes clearly not meant for the public. Also very sad to see...

  • The park was closed for renovations - not even a walk through was allowed. It appears they are adding cement paths - a pity.

  • This is a completely unique park. I try to find out where else in such a small provincial town in the world you can find such a magnificent, beautiful park. It is utterly handsome and big. Its area is about 26 hectares. The park was built by a famous and very gifted Georgian princess with the help of excellent knowledge of Italian architect and craftsmen. The park was founded in 1840. About 5,000 individuals of large plants–trees and about 200 species of shrubs grow here. In 1856, the park survived the disgusting Crimean War and was almost completely destroyed. Fortunately, after some time it was restored. Here you will not find exotic birds or other animals, except for a few beautiful birds in cages, but this is not a zoo. In the park you will come across a beautiful gardener's house with an attached greenhouse. I noticed that only the segment of the park adjacent to the entrance and to that sweetest and most famous lake is especially well maintained. By the way, there are many beautiful fish swimming in this lake. A beautiful narrow canal system flows through the park. The park is not particularly cold.
