We drove there from Batumi and nearly missed it as the entrance to it is in a bend of the road. On a cliff it commanded a strategic position but there is not much left of it

Not a great deal to see here and not really worth the stop over. This area was closed off when we visited. Lots of rubble.

Nice fortress by the sea. There was a couple doing a wedding shoot when we went. Not many people were here. It's fairly small but nice stop if you're around the area. The roads are fun to drive. It cost 10 Lari for adults

The place is nice, but there is not so much to do there less than one hour and you would be finished with it. there is a bathroom there. and plenty of parking space.
