At Museum of Broken Relationships, reflect on the fragility of human relationships, and consider the political, social, and cultural circumstances surrounding the love stories presented. After the end of their four-year relationship, Olinka Vistica and Drazen Grubisic started the collection with their leftover personal items. See how other people embraced the idea of exhibiting their past love as a sort of mourning. The facility received the Kenneth Hudson Award for Europe's most innovative museum in 2011. • My favorite part of the experience are the stories behind everything in this museum! From sad to ironic, from interesting to shocking, all there.

  • Undoubtedly one of my favorite museums so far. The museum showcases the stories and associated items of many break ups that range from funny to heartbreaking. We made it a quick little stop on our walk throughout Zagreb. It’s located right on the street of the infamous st marks church and nearby delicious traditional Croatian restaurants. They offer a student discount for the entry fee which was inexpensive. Definitely add this to your Croatian travel agenda.
  • Nice set of stories, very diverse, some about romantic relationships, some about different types. Definitely a unique museum to visit. If you like it, I would recommend listening to "Modern Love" podcast from New York Times. Similar premise - 10 min stories about various faces if love. I hope that if I ever visit Zagreb again, there will be a new set of stories in the museum :)
