  • Split's old town is lovely but Marjan Park with its views over the city and nearby islands are breath-taking. No matter what, my walk up the hill has been rewarding, and so will be yours!

  • First and foremost this is a huge park, easily larger than the whole of old town, with plenty of room to spare. There are several very large footpaths that lead mostly around the Marjan Hill after which the park is named. Several beaches can be accessed from the park, best ones being located on the southern side. There are also some ancient churches along the footpaths as well as great vistas, a museum and a small zoo. Recommended.
  • Absolutely stunningly beautiful views abound. It is just such a wonderful place to spend some time walking around and resting taking in the various views around the park. There are so many vistas to experience. If we return to Split, this will be our number one thing to see again.
