The former home of one of Croatia's greatest painters, Vlaho Bukovac House provides a look into the creative process of a major 19th-century artist. Bukovac spent his entire childhood in this stone house, noted for its well-preserved architecture and gardens. Though he honed his style in Vienna, Paris, and Prague, the celebrated Realist took his earliest artistic steps while living here with his parents and three siblings. Walk inside to see numerous portraits of Bukovac and his family, and take a peek at his upstairs studio, complete with the artist's old easel, brushes, and paints. This was a lovely museum. Is located in the house where Vlaho Bukovca was born. His paintings are really nice and the house is also beautiful. You have an audio guide that you can use from your own smartphone. The visit will take you about one hour.
