Dive into a veritable aquarium at Aitutaki Lagoon, a pool of turquoise seawater surrounded by white sand and lively coral reefs. The water is so clear you will not need snorkeling gear, but certainly consider taking it if you want a closer look at the exotic marine life. To reach this lagoon, look for a boat tour that stops by, rent a private boat to drop you off for the day, or stay overnight at the nearby resort. The resort also provides a restaurant and restroom facilities. Use our Aitutaki sightseeing planner to add Aitutaki Lagoon and other attractions to your Aitutaki vacation plans.

Stunning lagoon. Clear waters and sand. Just breath taking to see. Make sure you do a lagoon cruise which takes you out to other Islands to have a fun snorkelling experience.

We stayed in a Premium Beachfront Bungalow for a few nights. The resort is undergoing refurbishments so the main reception and pool area is all under construction and off limits, with a temporary reception and restaurant in the beach bar & grill area. Our room was excellent - well appointed and with views to die for. The outdoor shower with views out to the beach was interesting to say the least! Due to the resort building being under construction, the restaurant and reception were in the Beach Bar & Grill. The service was friendly and casual, and when busy there was a bit of a wait, but the food was fine and cocktails filled the gaps. The island is stunning and there's plenty to see via snorkel or kayak or bike, or you can jump on the boat and explore the main island further, and the various island cruises will collect you from Sunset Beach to explore further. Due to the main resort building being under construction many of the daily activities seemed to be cancelled but we managed to fill our days and totally enjoyed our stay.

I can not recommend this resort enough. If the beautiful views don’t convince you to come back, the fabulous staff will. We had such a wonderful stay, everything about the experience was amazing. Waking up in paradise almost seems like a dream now. If you don’t book this resort you will kick yourself. 10/10 would recommend
