Create an itinerary including Casa Loma
Constructed at the beginning of the 20th century in the Gothic Revival style, Casa Loma represents the city's only castle. The midtown landmark once served as the formal residence of financier Henry Mill Pellat, known for helping bring hydroelectric power to Toronto. Originally the largest private home in Canada, the grandiose 98-room castle now acts as a museum, often used for wedding ceremonies and movie shoots. Choose between several themed guided tours, or pick up a digital audio guide at the entrance and explore the castle and gardens on your own. Using our international travel planner, Toronto attractions like Casa Loma can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Not sure they have much content but some of what they have is good - the movie area with wax work figures is well done. The Princess DI stuff a bit underwhelming. Quite expensive for what it is.

  • I’ve come to Casa Loma for many events. My favourite has to be high tea. You get to roam the castle before hand and then sit for tea. The finger foods were a wide range which is great. Desserts were also a wide variety, but the best part is more desserts were handed out and your able to chose from them all. There was also a harpist, and she played the violin if it was your birthday! So nice.
  • Truly a beautiful space! It's a Gothic Revival style mansion and house museum with beautiful grounds during the summer. I can imagine weddings at this place! To get to the highest levels you have to take some very narrow stairs and if you are able to, it's totally worth going to the top. You will see amazing views of the surrounding areas! Can't wait to return here someday when things are back to normal, or as close to normal as possible!
