Praia da Galheta, Florianopolis

With super-fine, white sand, framed by rolling green hills and giant boulders, Praia da Galheta is one of Ilha de Santa Catarina’s prettiest beaches. Only accessible if you walk 10-minutes through the dunes from Praia Mole, the beach is also one of the last strongholds on the entire coast of the island where nature is totally unspoiled. As there is a complete lack of infrastructure, to keep hydrated you can drink from a small fresh-water spring, which also serves as a refreshing shower.
