Mercado Municipal is permanently busy, with people from all walks of life meeting to play dominoes, listen to live music, and, of course, shop. Teeming with fresh shrimp, mussels, and oysters as well as various dried goods, ceramics, and local art, you will enjoy browsing the 140 stalls--known as “boxes”--. • Low price for shirts and souvenirs. Take care with wallets ok. The food place offer different restaurants and many sea foods. The price for food is not expenses. I visit with family and friends.

  • This is also a very popular place if you want to: have something to drink, something small to eat, and meet friends in the evening. The area is covered - so a little rain is no problem, the music...

  • It's a one-of-a-kind experience. A super-size open air mall of restaurant. All are generally high priced & you pay for the energetic atmosphere that includes LIVE music, well-positioned large TV screens for sports or concert films. High noise level & food was average quality despite above average prices. Still it's a good place for groups.
  • Best time to go is during the week. Food is decent in the food court. However don't expect amazing. Draft beer is top notch. Weekend it's a ghost town, no one with tents or selling on the street. Recommend the Fruit, Meat and Cheese vendors under the pavilions, sell quality.
