  • Large multi-spired building adding to the charm of the main square in Bruges. Not nearly as old as many of other buildings surrounding the square, but it fits in well.

  • The architecture of this beautiful building is a remarkable piece of art that deserve to be protected to remain public and not to be sold as planed by the national government in 2012 but protested and rejected by the provincial government.
  • The Provinciaal Hof (Province Palace) is one of the interesting buildings that make up the Grote Markt in Bruges. This is an imposing neo-Gothic style building facing the Jan Breydel en Pieter de Coninck monument. The Belfort is to the left of this building when facing the square. At the ground floor you will find the entrance to the Historium Brugge tourist attraction. The exterior is attractive if you enjoy seeing medieval and neo-Gothic style architecture. It is similar to but less ornate than Stadhuis which is situated on the nearby Grote Markt. Have a quick look-see, take a few pictures while enjoying the lovely buildings at the Grote Markt.
