Luc Vanlaere Harpist - Mini Harp Museum, Bruges

While walking on the streets of Bruges, I by chance discovered this concert, next to the Church of Our Lady. It was the best half hour of my day. The entrance is free because Luc Vanlaere, the artist, believes that music and art should be accessible to everyone, and I admire this idea of his so much!! Ofcourse you will have opportunity to support his work by voluntary contribution at the end of the concert. The sound he created by harps and other instruments, all by himself, was incredible and transported me to a different universe. You will also get to know a little bit history of these instruments. If you are in Bruges and love music, please visit him. The concert timings are between Wednesday to Saturday at 15:00, 17:00, and 18:30 hours.

MUST VISIT IN BRUGES! Came to Luc’s concert by coincidence as I am visiting Bruges. BEST PART OF MY TRIP! Luc creates and plays his own music compositions. The music is nicely set up and perfectly put together. It helped me to relax and get calm. He also has an instrument collection (very cool to look at) and he also plays on some of his self-built instruments. The concert is free as Luke believes that everyone should have access to music! You can give voluntary donations or buy his CDs afterwards for appreciations. (Should def support his work if you can in any of your way possible!) Personally, I deeply admire and appreciates his passion towards music. The concert is 40-mins.
