Stausee Kops, Gaschurn

One of the 3 large water reservoirs in the Galtür area. It is worth the view, especially from the top of the mountain, where you can go by cable car or take a nice long hike from Galtür village.

From Galtür with gondola to Alpkogel, up to Breitspitze and down to Stausee, 9 km of tough hike, tough because of jumping from stone to stone. It was lightly raining, streams were everywhere along the path, our shoes were wet. Very picturise nature, with small lakes, swamps and great views to unbelieveable green lake Kops.
