Schober Frauenkopf Mountain, Fuschl am See

if you just start to do trekking/hiking and want to experience a mountain hiking, Mount Schober is just the best place. while it is not difficult, it is really enjoyable with smooth walking. it is steep but it is well organized and structured. there are wooden structures to help you. there is some ruins of ancient castle at the beginning. the scenery ıs just fascinating. then you will climb up. it is not super challenging but do not forget to bring your trekking shoes and sticks. when you stay tuned in your hiking, you will get your reward. a thrilling, refreshing scene of 3 even 4 lakes at the same time..the cars on the roads are perceived very small.. you are on top of world with green and blue...it is worth to spend time here. i was surprised to see Austrian people from all ages, from kids to elderly people. it is really motivating. what a sportive nation :)

A short but sturdy hike to get at the top with an amazing look over the area. We started from the parking, then went to the ruin, up to schober and went back over frauenkopf. Side note, if your dog (or child) isnt a good climber you might have to carry them at some parts
