The pier is ok, they are refurbishing it. It isn't anything special, but there is a good view of Melbourne skyline from the end that you don't get from the shore.

Had a great time walking about St Kilda Pier during the golden hour period. If not for the clouds, it would've been a killer view! Wife took me here on her friend's recommendation & definitely worth a walkabout! 10/10 would recommend 👍 👍

Fantastic place to catch the sunset, get views of the city, and spot some penguins! Note that the actual penguin viewing area further down is closed as of the time of this review.
