We visited Banks Thargo Winery on our way to the Great Ocean Road. The heart-warming welcome of Jon left us a deep and lasting impression. We shared an interesting conversation over delicious wines they make. We called only half an hour to our arrival to check if we could do some wine tasting and yet the owner found time for us. We tasted four different wines and liked them all, but 2013 Merlot was our favourite with its rich yet subtle taste. If you ever have to choose from a wide range of Coonawarra wineries to visit, we can personally vouch for this amazing place! :)
