Mayfield Garden reviews
We visited during winter. Some bulbs were popping there heads up. The trees were stark and beautiful. We spent over three hours walking and photographing. We are returning in spring.

The garden is very stark and brown in winter. Freezing cold. We did get to go in the maze which was fun. It would be lovely to visit in spring. I hope the money contributes to the local community...

Beautiful place. Worth visiting. Staff member were very nice and helpful. Plan a day nicely. Reach there as early as you can. One day may not be enough to explore all the spots in there. There is caffe but you can take your food inside and have a nice little picnic. Family with kids or disabled people can take pram/wheelchair but it may be little hard to walk with pram/wheelchair as pathways are not pram and wheelchair friendly. Plenty of parking spot available. Worth visiting.
Do not visit in winter!! You are charged full price - $55 for a family of 5. All the trees and most of the ground cover are dead or bare. Then to top things off 1/2 the gardens were closed off! You do appreciate how beautiful they gardens would look come spring-autumn, but it is no way worth the $$. In winter entry should be a discounted rate.
