  • We stayed at a cabin and enjoyed our stay . Came at a quiet time which was nice otherwise I’m sure it would be a busy park . Lots of places to walk and explore. Lots of accommodation cabins...

  • The dam is now full of water so the lake is spectacular. We went for the day to have a BBQ as we were told there were picnic grounds and BBQs. One BBQ had no gas so we shared the BBQ with another...

  • A typically turbid lake with surprisingly low water, considering the record breaking wet weather. Also surprisingly hard to get to the water, unless you pay for entry into one of the holiday parks. The arboretum is worth a visit, if you're already there, but the area is only worth going to if you have a very specific reason to go, like water skiing.
  • This place could be so much better if they vetted their clientele more stringently. We were camped next to a group of gronks who had spent the entire day both on the jetski and the ice. Not a wink of sleep was had by a very packed campsite. Unfortunately I don't think the site manager would have been able to achieve any resolve (without police intervention) given their behaviour. That being said, the utilities and grounds are fine. Toilets were always clean and staff very friendly and respectful.
