We're a family run business with Trine and Andy taking the reins from a 10 year stint by her parents. Burnbrae is one of the oldest wineries in Mudgee, making wine from 1971 in an open-aired winery under the peppercorn trees that still shade the grounds today. 'Burnbrae' is Scottish for 'Brook at the foot of the hills'.For Burnbrae Wines and beyond, use our Mudgee trip maker website to get the most from your Mudgee vacation.
When it comes to wine we've got your back. Knowing that visitors love wine too, we want to help choose the right wine for the right occasion. We want visitors to feel 'Wine Empowered' when they walk out our door.
Our cellar door is the heart of Burnbrae and it’s open 7 days a week from 10am-4pm.
We provide antipasto boards every day of the week with homemade, local and seasonal produce.
On Sundays serve delicious pizzas (using free-range, preservative and additive free ingredients) with guests sharing a bucket of our own brewed 548 Lager on the lawns.
We pride ourselves as being one of the best wedding and event venues in Mudgee. We're all about flexibility, support and enjoyment, whilst tailoring the special days using a variety of locations on the property.
Adding to our charm the vineyard comes with the original Winemakers Cottage. Sleeping 4 adults it’s an enviable retreat where guests can sit back and sip some seriously quaffable wines overlooking the countryside.
Visit our place for a modern take on wines, boutique beer, 'Lazy Pizza Sundays', wine empowerment and a bit of banter on the side.

Heard good words. Got in and unfortunately after 20min wait, they forgot about us. I felt like we didn't welcome their. Just to pay my respects got a pack of beer. Maybe it's better to book prior, maybe you get a better service

Burnbrae is a pretty little cellar door. Wine was alright and the platter was absolutely delicious and all locally sourced. Dotty was great as well!
