Our guide book had suggested we look out for Australian by Design and we are so grateful we did. Trickier you find now, as high rents in the beautiful Block Arcade mean that you need to take the lift.... more

We visited the Australian by design gallery today and we wish to say that we saw some very beautiful and characteristic objects of Australian art. The exhibition is very well done and elegant and the welcome was very friendly, kind, with explanations and great availability for any topic. Show not to be missed. The person who received us was also extremely kind because he looked for us and tracked us down at Flinders Station, where we said we had an appointment with a person, to bring us the rest of the payment for a purchase made by us, money we had forgotten to pick up in the shop. It was a very pleasant test of honesty, seriousness, intelligence and kindness that we greatly appreciated. For us the vote is 10 !! Maria and Vincenzo from Italy
