Create an itinerary including Windyridge Garden
Windyridge Gardens is a open garden located in the historical garden village of Mt Wilson, the garden features cool climate plants, water features and various sculptures and art pieces.

We are just under five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Wai and Rodger purchased Windyridge in 1995 and have been slowly building the garden up over the years. The first three years were spent scrubbing out the old, sick and dead trees. After that the construction of the paths, terraces and building structures were done. And then the planting began.

A garden is never finished and it's a true labor of love.

Open in open all year round. Price: $10 per adult and $3 per child.
Windyridge Garden is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , world travel planner Edition.

  • What a find! Just popped by to investigate and delighted by the friendly chat with Roger and browsing through his 5 acre garden. It's magical! He has many plants for sale in his nursery.

  • Windyridge Garden is truly a hidden gem. A group of us braved the rain yesterday to visit the place for the first time and were warmly greeted by the owner Roger and a cup of tea and biscuits...

  • What a wonderful place. Not too big, very gentle and easy walk. Although there's no where to buy food they provided complementary tea/coffee and biscuits.
