Create an itinerary including ARARAT Museum
Taste some fine cognac and learn about the history and art of distilling at ARARAT Museum, a palatial stone edifice overlooking Hrazdan Gorge. Take an informative, English-language tour of the company's cellars packed with old brandy barrels, and browse through memorabilia related to distillation--including personalized barrels made for various world leaders. The distillery also houses a museum documenting the history of brandy-making in Armenia from the late 19th century and its most popular brand, which has biblical connotations. Book your tour a day in advance. To visit ARARAT Museum on your holiday in Yerevan, and find out what else Yerevan has to offer, use our Yerevan.

  • I will strongly recommend to do the tour which includes brandy tasting at the end. The tour was very nice as well as the guide, she sang us a song which its on board (this board was made of brandy). Very nice experience and nice guide.
  • Having failed to book a tour online (the website didn’t recognise a time had been entered), we went in person. Neither security staff we met spoke they just intimated where to go. There was no-one on the main desk and the lady in the shop just scowled!! Fantastic experience and no tour
