There are great views along the lake and up towards the mountains. It's a huge place and there are some tourist attractions around it like hotels, restaurants and tourist boat rides.

One of the beautiful spots in the whole of Armenia. This lake is a 90 minute drive from Yerevan. The place has a small church from where you can see the whole lake view and that is mesmerizing. There is a tent like stay set up nearby a lake where you can spend a night. It is expensive though. There is no need to stay as it is easily accessible from Yerevan. Must visit place when in Armenia.

My review is for the lake, monastery. Views with both at background are just stunning, so far this is the best spot in Armenia to me.
