Kuimba Shiri Bird Sanctuary is a great whole-family experience with over 400 bird species on display. The sanctuary is located on the shores of Lake Chivero and provides a home for some of Zimbabwe's rarest and most treasured birds, including several species of African eagles. The park also houses a rustic restaurant surrounded by lushly vegetated gardens and featuring the lake as a backdrop.
