Accessed by dirt road or kayak, Matevulu Blue Hole represents a stunning pool of crystal-clear spring water. In fact, the water is so clear that it almost seems like you are flying instead of swimming. Next to the blue hole, a grand Banyan tree outstretches and holds a bamboo ladder and rope swing, so visitors can fly through the air and take an exciting leap into the blue water below. The locals charge a small fee to enter the attraction; remember that trying to bargain is considered rude. Very beautiful ! Perfect for jumping with a big rope and a small one. Not great for chilling, because it’s only rocks around it. I would recommend to spend 1h to 1h30 max and then move on to another hole like Nanda Blue Hole or the beach like Champagne Beach.
Beautiful spot, well worth a visit. Please be mindful to ensure you do not leave anything behind when you leave. It would be a shame for this natural beauty to be ruined with rubbish from tourists.
