visited with my kids (10 and 12) - they weren't overly excited about any of the attractions. Pretty average. There was absolutely no supervision for any activities - basically a free-for-all with the ... more »

Kids love this place. One of the best fall spots on long island. Worth the trip. The donuts are amazing. Huge pumpkins.

Pretty good place. They have a wheelbarrow so you can load up pumpkins. What I ended up doing was putting 3 pumpkins in the wheelbarrow and filled it up with other treats--pies, donuts, pumpkin bread, preserves, cider and honey. They had apple pie, cherry pie, blueberry pie, triple berry pie, strawberry rhubarb pie, and pumpkin pie. There may be more that I forgot. They had pumpkin bread, apple crumble bread, banana nut bread, banana chocolate chip bread, and zucchini bread. They had strawberry preserve, blueberry preserve, raspberry preserve, triple berry preserve, strawberry jam and a few syrups that I didn't really pay attention to. I, unfortunately, couldn't get their turnovers and fudge but the fudge looked good. I was a little confused on how to enter the orchard for the apple picking (literally the only flaw but I still got my hands on apples so I can't truly complain; also I have heard their apple orchard wasn't so great for picking since most were rotten on the ground; granted it could be because they need to pick a good portion to sell in $6 bags and there are enough people coming that the rest could have been picked. This all is supposition which doesn't change the fact that getting into the apple orchard wasn't clear). Too bad the golden delicious ans Granny Smith apples weren't ripe but I got a bag of empire apples...I can't truly be upset over that as tbey have different ripening times. It got expensive since I had to buy to distribute for a lot of people. I hope to come back next year.
