In a city full of no charge museums, this one is worth admission. We got there pretty early (AAA discount) to avoid crowds. We had been to the older place and this is a great improvement. more »

Brand new museum with new technology that makes the experience very entertaining. You can participate by assuming a spy identity and test your spy skills along the way, or just enjoy the exhibits. It is my favorite museum in DC. I have been there twice and still have not seen all the exhibits. This is not pretend spy movie stuff. It is actual history. Highly recommended!
The Spy Museum is so much fun! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely allow 3-4 hrs to go through and watch all the short films throughout the different sections of the museum. Lots of street parking but could fill up quickly so allow a few extra minutes if driving.
