Catalina State Park Reviews
Wish we had more time to hike these trails. It was beautiful and only $7 to get in. Next time I’d plan a full day to explore more! Worth the trip! more »
A friend and I hiked the Romero Pools Trail on 1/1/20. The combination of cool weather and recent rain/snow made this hike extra special. There were streams and saterfalls in places where they are..... more »
We camped here in an RV in late July for four nights. We camped in loop "A". Aside from the Camp Host there were only two other campers here!! This is a very nice and well maintained park. All of the campsites are paved and very level. They are also quite spacious. There are shower houses and flush toilets at both loops. They are immaculate and quite nice! There are several hiking trails available and a pretty cool Native American Indian ruins area along the Romero Ruins trail to check out. The park is just a very short drive from everything you'd need. There is also a laundromat about five miles away. We paid $30 per night for water and electric. There are no "Full" hook-up sites, but they do have a couple dump stations.
Very clean facilities, showers and other amenities are simple and well cared for. The grounds are spacious and inviting. There are many hiking trails in the park with options for small inclines and mountain climbing for some of the longer trails. The plant and animal life is divers and beautiful. Go ahead and enjoy.
