  • Nice place for hiking, biking, birding . There is a Nature center with live reptiles , turtle ,jelly fish etc. The trails are full of natural resources. We found jellyfish and blue crabs near blue trails. Super clean restroom, plenty of parking lot. Safe area and people are nice . They have a butterfly garden with monarch ,humming birds and lots of native flowers. End of the main path starts the orange trail which takes you on a beautiful boardwalk amidst the marsh.
  • They have so much to enjoy within the park itself that it is hard to find things not to like about it! They have little boardwalk paths between the marshy areas; they have picnic areas with tables and benches; they have bike trails and little side paths to explore (just don't forget your tick repellant); and then, about a mile into the gravel trail, you hit the actual beach area. It prob isn't the cleanest but I always take of my shoes & socks and walk along the shore there. Literally no one bothers you. So peaceful.
