  Highly recommend stopping in. The largest collection of ground based observatories in the Continental United States. The 4 meter telescope is well worth the tour, it definitely shows the era it was built in, the renaissance of early day astronomy. We are in a new period of incredible science coming from the field of austronomy. The 4 meter is under going a makeover, recording a cutting edge instrument DESI (Dark Energy Spectrograph Instrument)
